Blogging For Fun and Profit
  Blogs do get search engine spidering faster, resulting in more traffic. But the blog content needs to remain fresh, the blog active, to keep gaining attention. In order to not let the blog stagnate, here is some helpful advice:

- Add content daily or at least 2-3 times a week to your blog. This may seem like fun in the beginning, but can get old – and fast. So you have a few options here to help you out in this department:

1. Blogs are cool in that you can write posts well in advance and pre-date your entries. Then as the dates roll around, the posts automatically roll out to the general public. So set aside some time once a week or month (or year!) and get all of your writing done in advance, load the content into your blog, pre-dating each entry, and you are finished.

2. You could also hire bloggers to write and post your entries for you. Look at online bidding sites like Elance.com. Or post for bloggers on your favorite forums and among your fellow business associates who have websites and blogs.

3. You can post content that someone else has created – and either ghostwritten, granting PLR (private label rights) so that you can brand it with your own byline. Or content that carries someone else’s byline that you need to keep in tact when you post the article to your blog.

4. You can also combine all of the above; mix and match. No need to bore everyone! Invite different authors. Host guest author night. Invite feedback / comments that will also be their own blog posts.

5. Plug-In software programs like WordPress Content are also available to help out. With this particular program, you get help with:

  • Gathering prewritten articles from two different directories, only in categories you choose, in a jiff.
     
  • Either having the articles above post immediately to your Wordpress blog or set them up to appear later; monthly, weekly or daily.
     
  • Using this with multiple blogs, multiple niches.

Remember: keep your blog content fresh and active on a regular basis. Mix-n-match the helpful tips above so that your blog and blog traffic do not stagnate.
