Get Traffic with a Mini-Course

One of the number one reasons people surf the net is to gain information. So give them some and gain more traffic in the meantime. Give them information packed inside a mini-course, and give them multiple opportunities to visit with you, get to know you, your products and services and site, and return to shop – and buy.

Setting up a mini-course can be done in several simple steps:

Step One – Take a look at what you are trying to sell, be it a product or service. And focus on the main questions people ask you about: look over past emails, forum threads, chat room discussions, etc. You are researching popular content for your messages.

Step Two – Write out an outline to cover all the basic questions you have received. If you are lacking information for a full series of at least 7 messages, the preferred minimum to bring people back for maximum sales potential, add messages with information about your products and services, touching on key features and benefits of them for your prospects.

Step Three – If you would like help writing your messages in full once you have basic points in your outline, seek help. You can ask fellow business associates for freelance writing referrals, you can search the Internet for “freelance writers’ and you can head to work bidding sites like Elance.com, post your project for free and accept bids form writers. Then choose a winner.

For help with graphics, head back to Elance.com or search for “ebook cover generator” listings in search engines.

Step Five – Set up an autoresponder with its subscriber form code entered into your mini-site. Seek out autoresponder companies; top companies include ecompal.com and Aweber.com, but there are many other options out there, like uploading your own autorepsonder software onto your server, if you have tech skills in this area.

Step Six – Market your ecourse. Add a link to your mini-site in your email signature (sig), your forum sigs and profiles, on your faxes and letterhead, etc.
